Statements, renewal notices, bills, cover notes and other electronically generated (e-generated) documents are more than a necessary function of doing business. These documents are integral to the relationship between an organisation and its clients.
E-generated documents are a major source of a customer communication and, as such, form part of the ongoing dialogue between an organisation and its clients. When this dialogue breaks down due to poor design, the costs can be significant. For example, poorly designed bills or renewal notices result in incorrect payments. Unclear statements result in a high volume of customer enquiries - usually directed to Call Centres.
