Your documents and web content are a window into your organisation. Documentation that is incoherent, grammatically incorrect, poorly laid out or unnecessarily wordy is disrespectful to customers on many levels. It signifies a lack of concern for the customer who may make personal or financial decisions based on information provided to them.
